    Microphone buzz


    I bought the steelseries arctis wireless for xbox and theres a problem. I plugged in the headset to my wireless controller and turned my mic monitoring all the way up. I then heard a buzz in the headphones. I usually play woth mic monitoring down so i
    dont hear myself. Can the people i play with hear this buzz when im talking to them. And if so how can i fix the problem.

    While I cannot offer a suggestion on that particular headset, I can inform you about the buzz and what others may hear. Often times a buzz on your end can produce no sound for your friends to hear. A great way to check would be to turn on party overlay and
    see if your name is highlighted as producing sound when you are not speaking. If your name does not appear or is not highlighted, it is safe to assume your friends cannot hear any background noise from your mic.

    As for buzz with a particular headset, I would suggest checking out the Steelseries FAQ or support as it may provide you more specific solutions to your problem.

    The noise you getting is electrical interference i have same problem with my mic because its so sensitive i can't use the light in my room i can't even use my heater either because it makes the buzz a hundred times worse

    Yeah, in the past whenever I've had a controller buzzing, or had a buzzing microphone from somebody else in a party chat, it's been because a controller has been charging at the same time.
