    Xbox one controller sound issue

    Im using a turtle beach xp seven headset with a normal xbox one controller and chat adpter (all are up to date)..... when i plug the micro usb cord into my controller i start to hear a buzzing noise in my headset....any help?

    The wireless headset does not connect to the controller, it connects to the xbox..

    If you can't get both the controller and headset to be on the same player slot, then try using a paperclip or something to clean the micro-jack on the controller... I had problems before where the controller thinks a headset is plugged in it, because of
    dust or whatever in that micro-jack...

    Thanks. I saw the headset works fine, it is cool.

    But we some devices are not working on the other devices, because of connection types etc. Some headsets could be recognised only like headphones not micro. For this would be great test your Xbox with different one as well.

    The Xbox One Controller is designed for using a headset with a 3.5mm jack. There is no general USB support on the Xbox One console for USB headsets.

    There is an issue with having your Xbox One in the "Instant On" feature. The symptoms of that is loading the game and then it forcing you to home screen. To fix this go to Settings --> Power & Start up --> Click on power mode and have it be Power-Saving
    mode. The controller not working is probably due to not updating the controller. To update your controller you will need a USB to Micro-USB cable, like the ones that you plug into your smartphone into a USB wall charger. Insert the Micro-USB end into the front
    of the controller and the USB end into the left side of the Xbox, near the disc tray but on the left face. Then go to Settings --> System --> Update controller. Make sure you have an active internet connection and plug your headset into the controller, (the
    default Xbox One Headset) as it will update the headset too.
