    Micosoft account hacked


    Hi folks

    My son's Micorsoft account got hacked - the email associated with his account was changed (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***). Because of that, he is no longer able to sign into his Microsoft account.

    We spoke with Microsoft Support who confirmed that there was suspicious activiity related to the account and suspended the account indefinitely. We were told to create a new Microsoft account for my son with a different email. They are not able to recover the account, given the circumstances.

    We have also tried recovering the account several times via the online Recorvey Form but to no success.

    My question is how do we link this new Microsoft account/email to my son's current Minecraft account so he can assess all his saved games, etc? Emails to the Xbox Support team (as suggested by the Microsoft Support) is not helping to resolve this.

    Any help would be appreciated. I hope it does not mean we have to buy another subscription to Minecraft!

    We sold our Xbox 360 so have no access to an Xbox.

    Hello Felix, this process of linking the new account with Minecraft or the games you had in your account would be done if the account had been recovered, they would move everything from the old account to the new one.

    As you mentioned that Microsoft's own support was unable to recover your account, unfortunately you won't be able to link to Minecraft.
