Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about losing any profiles when updating your console via an Offline System Update.

Since you are simply updating your console, you would not lose any of the profiles on your console unless your actually factory reset your console, which can also be done

via USB.

if i update my xbox by usb, i don't lose my profiles already created and synced in my xbox.

I think mine might have created a Group by default as well, and put some popular apps in there like YouTube. You can delete them one by one though or edit them to create the Group how you would like it.

Can you be a bit more specific as to the group and what is in it?

Thank you, but I mean that if when I update my xbox one I don't lose my profiles, that is, I know that the profile is created with my Microsoft account, but what I ask is that once updated I should not synchronize the profiles again, it is that I am Cuban and
in my country I do not have a good connection, I already create my profiles and I play with them but I am afraid that if I update I will delete them and I must have to synchronize again and it is what I do not want to update and that later I do not have to
configure or synchronize my profiles that only update and play without the need for internet and without synchronizing my fermiles .. is this the case or should the profiles be synchronized again?
