Mic won't talk

Discus and support Mic won't talk in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; microphone won't talk. Just got new wireless mic that doesn't work.     Mic won't talk


    microphone won't talk. Just got new wireless mic that doesn't work. My other 3 wired mics also don't work. 2 of them are Microsoft mics. I've checked all the mute settings chat settings, nat etc. is there a way to get help on this? Don't think it's another
    bad mic.

    My Mic lets me hear stuff but it won't let me talk.

    I've tried restarting my Xbox power cycling it, testing my mic with other controllers but my mic still won't let me talk. I know it works cause I talk with it on the phone. Please help.

    I dont know if its a preview bug or something all of a sudden my mic stop letting me talk in it

    I think it's a preview bug but ever since I got the preview my mic won't allow me to talk in it

    I can hear party chat but they cannot hear me. Xbox One S

    It's weird, my mic works for party chat, it works for recording messages, works for talking to Cortana. It won't however work with game chat! No matter what game I'm in it shows that a mic is hooked up but the icon won't flash when i talk into it.

    I've checked to make sure I'm not in a party and I'm not. Something is up Microsoft needs to fix this.

    Sorry bout that, but yes, you can use the headsets without the mic...I thought you were talking bout the mic...but yeah all headsets that have the optical output will work with the xbox one. It's just that the mics won't work and I posted a link showing
    how to fix the mic...

    I always have a mic on but I won't ever talk unless someone else attempts to talk first and they aren't a rage gamer (curses like mad and yells at each death). I've actually met a few people in random matches who used mics and we now game together pretty

    Stop leaving the damn games..

    Turrets are hard to. If someone can take down their shields I can Warp them and shoot twice and they are down. I normally won't talk in a game with randoms. I will talk with friends, but if I just go to quick match my mic is off.
