    Mic will not work only in party chat (skype and game chat work fine) and only doesn't work with a specific XBL account. If you sign in as a different user on the same xbox, controller, and mic it works just fine. The "broken account" can use kinnect for
    party chat perfectly thus ruling out privacy issues. We have been on with microsoft support numerous times and they're clueless to the problem.

    twitch and party chat

    Party chat should work fine whilst broadcasting. The broadcast will only pick up your mic from the party though.

    Controller update/headset adapter

    Picked up the headset adapter. Updated the controller. It works fine but for there were multiple times where I I joined some friends in a party.....yet the mic only worked for in game chat....and not the party chat.

    Anyone experience this?

    I have the oppisite problem.. My mic will not work in Matchingmaking on Halo Reach, but it works for sending messages, listening to messages, and in private chat.. I can not hear or talk to friends while playing a matchingmaking game. I have checked my privacy
    setting and it is Open to all players. Mic will not work only in party chat and only doesn't work with a specific account :(

    I'm also not sure what cord you mean specifically.

    This is only happening with this one game.

    Agreed, I have heard that the Kinect Mic is working for other games, but not for CoD. (Specifically, it doesn't work for the "in-game voice," but it supposedly still works for Party Chat. Sadly, it isn't logical to have to invite everyone in a MP lobby to

    Hopefully they'll update the game!
