Mic Transmission issues

This issue goes back to when I even first bought the Xbox One on 2/08/2014. With the headset that comes with the Xbox One it worked perfectly for a while. hurt my ear due to the shape of it. However, after about a week I had to start plugging the mic in
and out several times restarting my Xbox One just for it to transmit. About another week after that I wouldnt be able to transmit and or hear anyone in my party! So I had to fumble around with it some more... Well After that I got a modified plug in for the
Xbox One so I could use my Turtle beaches x12s. That worked well for a while... Now everytime I plug that in... It sounds like someone is being murdered in my headset than the controller shuts off... By "Someone is being murdered" I mean there is an extremely
loud sound that sounds like someone screaming at the top of their lungs...

So now after all that. I bought the TitanFall Atlas Headset by TurtleBeach. I enjoy it checked out everything and it works very nicely... Xbox 360 they worked fine and I even did an audio sample with my HD PVR 2 and it works very nicely. No complaints, expect
for the static sounds but even TB has stated that there is nothing they can do because its just "natural static" or however they put it. So, I plug my mic into the Xbox One adapter and it works but last night, 3/13/2014, I plug it in and it does not work.
There was someone in my lobby who had his mic on for the entirely of the game, most likely too close to his tv and his mic was picking up everything. I did not hear him. So come to see Im having the same issue again! I have no issues on the Xbox 360 however,
I think its the adapter... When I get it working it works fine but since its brand spanking new this should be a non-issue. I just wish to have some input from Microsoft on what is going on and if there is any thing they plan to do to fix this.

Weird issue with mic

Sounds like NAT or network issues. Sometimes when two people have a certain network config you can play and chat with other people just fine, but not someone else with your same issue.

My wife and I used to have a similar issue with chat in OG Destiny. Check your NAT and make sure it is open not moderate or strict.

 

Strange Headset Problems

After the update, my Stereo Headset Adapter started having voice transmission issues. Receiving works fine, but no longer able to chat.

 

Did you update your controller and did you do it correctly? By correctly I mean did you follow the instructions that came with the adapter? There is a support article:

I have heard that some people have issues when they don't follow the instructions clearly. Maybe try contacting support directly and see if they can help you:

For the Titanfall headset I did this procedure but I didn't know I was suppose to do this for just the out of the box one.

 

I did this procedure step by step per instructions. Headset are unusable because of static and popping. Sorry it's not the user causing this problem.

 

I updated both controllers I have and using stock and adapter devices our chat either disappears or becomes where some of us can hear us some of us can't 100% of the time right now in Titanfall.
