Mic symbol crossed out showing

Ive switched everything off at mains and on again

Hi

the headphones are brand new turtle beach. Basically controller and headsets fine. Sound comes from tele but not connecting to controller for it to be heard in hesdset. This symbol showing

Does the headset not work with both of your controllers?

Thank you so much for responding. I see you are still seeing the crossed out mic icon on your home screen even after trying some troubleshooting. Your controller should be working just fine and our headset is brand new. As this is starting to sound like
a software issue, we suggest you try performing a
factory reset on your console.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.

Make sure you to select the option allowing you to keep your games and apps as well have your email and password at hand since you will be asked to sign back in. Let us know how it goes!
