    Mic/Skype

Hey, I use skype on a daily basis to communicate with friends, I don't like the kinect so I typically use the mic. However, I just encountered a problem and now when I call, I hear the ringing through the mic, but when my friend answers, I can only hear
through TV. It can't be a problem with the headset or controller, because like I said, I hear the ringtone from the call, but when the call is answered everything cuts out. They still hear me through the headset, but I cant hear them.. Please help.

    :)

  3. Numerous questions about the One. Please help.

I didn't think Skype used the chat mic? I thought it defaults to the kinect mic. Am I wrong?

    Mic/Skype

Go to the Home screen, select your gamerpic at the top, press A and select "Choose this person," while visibly holding the controller in front of Kinect. That should trigger it to register you as the one talking and re-route talking through the headset rather
    than TV.

You say they still hear you, but I suspect that's through Kinect rather than the headset's microphone.
