Mic sensitivity

Discus and support Mic sensitivity in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; is there any way to lower the sensitivity on the mic?     is there any way to lower the sensitivity on the mic? I’ve got the original Xbox headset and turtle beach headset… and they both pick up every little thing. I’ve tried changing the volume with voice, with no luck, checked for updates, added foam (even extra
    to the beaches), and everything else I can think of. Anyone know of anything worth trying? Can we just get a setting where we can adjust it manually? This seems to be a popular issue, from my searches

    Headset audio leak through headset mics, only on Xbox.

    I don't know of any microphone sensitivity settings on Xbox even with a headset connected. The only things I have ever had are mic on / off, volume, chat / game balance and mic monitoring. People have complained Xbox needs a mic sensitivity setting forever,
    so I'm not sure if this is accurate?

    I wish there was some way to lower the Kinect mic sensitivity. I have to mute my constantly.

    is it your mic that is too loud or is it other people you are in a party with?

    to adjust the sensitivity of the mic, press the Xbox button on the controller then press RB 3 times to get to the System tab and select Audio from the options there.

    this will allow you to turn down mic monitoring so your mic is less sensitive.

    if it is other people in your party who have their mics too sensitive then they will have to adjust the mic monitoring on their Xbox

    Some headsets are equipped with a monitoring sensor. I use the RIG 800 which has this feature. Have you tried adjusting your chat mixer and then turning down the volume on you headset? If you earpieces arent actually noise cancelling the sound will bleed
    over.

    I'm glad i'm not the only one with this opinion. I have a fairly expensive headset and use the Elite v2 controller. After numerous attempts of trying to fix my mic, i can't get a setting that works. Some people either echo from my mic, or my game sound
    echos so much and is picked up with my mic. I simply just mute myself between speaking now, which is inconvenient.
