Headset Help

i just got the xbox one preview update and now my mic does not work.. does anyone else have this problem?

Hey there, Ant Gaming!

I'm sorry to see any mic issues! However, this account isn't registered in the Insider Program for Xbox One; I do see that this account is registered for the Xbox 360 preview program, though that hasn't had an update in a while. Is there another account
that enrolled the console into the Insider program? If so, you will want to post on that account in the Insider forums linked at the bottom of my post.

However, if your console isn't on the Insider updates, then you'll want to try out the troubleshooting listed on our

headset troubleshooting page. The end result is to get a replacement headset, however I would suggest that you try a different controller before you do that. Sometimes a controller update is what causes this issue.

Have you tried updating the firmware on your controller with the mic connected? This could help. If not, this is an issue microsoft is aware of and trying to fix it.

If you would like to opt-out of the program, just do what you did to get into it. Preview Program App->Console Registration->And change it to original XB1 dashboard update. This also usually takes up to 72 hours to remove you from
the Program.
