    Mic only working when on desktop


    When on the desktop the Xbox app works fine, people can hear me i can hear them. However, once i start playing a game the mic stops working and people can no longer hear me.

    Any solutions

    Xbox One Wired Mic not working

    My mic is not working, like my mute button isn't turning on and my volume beeping isn't working either. It's not the controller because i have 2 mics and only one of them work with my controller. Whenever I speak it works but when they are talking i can
    only hear them like my mic is on 1% volume. PLEASE HELP!

    My Mic Won't work

    I just got my mic yesterday and now its not working. When i plug it in no one can hear me and i can only hear people on my TV.

    For us to better assist you, we need to identify first as to why your mic stops working when playing a game on your computer. Kindly provide us the following information:

    • Can you tell us the make and model of your mic that you're using?
    • Does the issue occur on all games that you're trying to play on your computer?
    • Can you tell us any troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far?

    In the meantime, I suggest that you disable audio enhancement on your computer by performing the following steps:

    1. On your desktop, right-click on the Volume icon.
    2. Select Recording devices.
    3. Click on Microphone, and then click Properties.
    4. Go to Advance, and then turn off Audio Enhancements.
    5. Launch a game and test your mic.

    Keep us updated with the results after performing the suggested solutions above.

    Windows 10 Games Cannot Sign Into the Xbox Account

    I am having the same problem. When I start a game on my desktop everything works fine, but when I try to start a game on my tablet it cannot sign me in, have tried uninstalling and re-installing them. It still does not work. Solitaire works fine on both
    devices, jigsaw and mahjong only work on the desktop.

    Game with update (August 2022) should (obliged to) work without a crash when launched from the desktop.
