    Mic on multiple devices not working.


    I have two headsets, one being the standard headset from Xbox one, and another using an adapter. In both cases, I can hear other people or the game fine from the headsets, but the mic is not working. On both of my controllers, the mic does not work, and
    it is not a muting problem. Also, I just got the adapter today, and it does the same thing, no mic, but I can hear sound.

    I had an afterglow head set that used the 3.5 jack and all the sudden my mic stopped working, I could still hear others but they couldn't hear me. I junked that headset and got a new Microsoft one and still have the same issue??? I can hear everyone just
    fine but no one can hear me. I haven't been able to find any settings to adjust or anything. Controller is up to date and tried the reset in the troubleshooting area but no luck. Any ideas?

    Same issue. Tried multiple headsets, multiple controllers, multiple batteries, multiple hard resets. I can hear party, but mic never activates. Was working fine, then walked out of range. Since then, I can't get it to work.

    Hi Sam,

    Since the mic is not working on two different controllers, then it's possible the mic itself is malfunctioning. Have tested the headset on another device to confirm the mic works? Try it with a phone on a voice call or try it on a PC or tablet on a Skype
    call or some other method in confirming others can hear you with that same headset on another device.

    Try the headset with another device and let us know that the microphone is working correctly.

    Sample Rate for Mic isn't supported

    It could be the plug that you are plugging the mic into, does it work on other devices/ports?
