mic. not working

broadcast on xbox. I turn on mic in broadcast menu and xbox setup

but it isn't working. I monitored my broadcast. and no one can't hear my voice.

what's the problem??

ive replaced the cord and 2.5 to 3.5 mm attachment and still no beans and i really dont want to delete my profile off my xbox.

Hmm. So, let's get the obvious question out of the way up front - you've checked to see that your mic isn't muted, right? I know that seems like a silly question but I gotta ask it because I've done that more times than I care to admit.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's do some more troubleshooting. (I'm assuming the answer to the above is, "It's not muted." for this.) Double check that your mic is plugged in properly and is totally functional. You can test this by recording
a voice message to someone and then playing it back (or sending it to them to see if they can hear you). If that works, you'll want to check your volume settings. From the Xbox One home menu:

• Go to Settings
• Scroll down to Preferences
• Open Broadcasting

You'll notice that there's a checkbox here asking if you'd like to include your mic audio or not. Check it and then adjust the setting as needed there.

If your mic DOESN'T pic up in the "send a test voice message" bit, try using a different controller to see if that changes anything. If that still doesn't work, post back with the kind of mic/headset and controller you're trying to use and we'll take another
gander.
