    Mic not working on xbox series s/x


    So this is for anyone that is not getting anywhere with all the advice and can't afford a new mic. If you have a headset that came with a y splitter for PC use, u can plug in a second controller, use one for the mice where u would put the splitter into, and the other for audio in the other controller. It's a quick fix till you can get something that works otherwise. No extras needed, even if u have a bad controller, it can still be used cause that will be the one u use for audio and the main one for the mic. Happy gaming. After hours n hours of looking for a solution, this came to mind. I literally just tried this n it works great while I wait for a new mic in 2.5wks. best of luck to everyone

    No. The Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S consoles do not support those type of mics.

    The Series S/X version is only playable on the Series S/X and will not work on the One. The Xbox One version will work on both.

    A Series S/X is a different console than an Xbox One. So if it's only for the Series S/X, it will not work on a One.

    Depending on what the game is, if what you bought is for the Series S/X then it will only work on the Series S/X. The One was released before the Series S/X. One games will work on the Series S/X, but not always vice versa.
