    Mic not working on xbox one


    I have the turtle beach cheap headphones that plug into the controller. Lately I can't hear anything or speak to anyone. I've checked and yes the volume is completely up and I'm not on mute. Randomly during the game I can hear someone really quickly.

    Whats weird is if I try to send a voice chat it shows that I spoke. I'll hit transcribe and it transcribes what I said perfectly. If I try to listen to it I can't hear anything though. Randomly the other day I thought it was fixed as I could hear a voice chat I sent. Then like 5 minutes later it stopped.

    Any ideas? This is driving me nuts.

    Using a usb mic

    Hello,

    The Turtle Beach Stream Mic works with the Xbox One by USB.

    Other mics may work but most don't.

    Does anyone know if Tritton Warheads 7.1's will work on an Xbox one?

    They will work as headphones. They will not work as a headset. The wireless mic connection will not work with the Xbox One and there's no wired mic cable option on the Warhead.

    Which mic are you trying to use? There are a number of 3rd party mics out there that are compatible and work with Xbox One.

    There are USB microphones that will work with the XBOX. One that works and is made for XBOX is the Turtle Beach Stream Mic. I personally have one and works great. Before purchasing it, I tried a BLUE Yet microphone which is USB and did not work. I
    am not aware if there are others that work but the Stream Mic works. It also has a PC app for some fine tuning and a headphone jack for Mic monitoring and game audio

    The Tritton Warhead's wireless mic will not work with Xbox One.
