    Mic not working on xbox head set, less than a year old


    I bought an official xbox one headset in February this year. the microphone has stopped working, when I took it back to the shop they said it only had a 6 month warranty, is this correct? I have tried live chat twice and despite it saying there is no queue,
    it wont connect me it just says there is an error

    Same. My mic was working all week and I turned the console off for less than an hour; I come back with no changes and my mic works but not through fortnight. If I am in a party or connect via phone or computer the head set works. I just cant talk through
    the game anymore.

    Does anyone know if Tritton Warheads 7.1's will work on an Xbox one?

    They will work as headphones. They will not work as a headset. The wireless mic connection will not work with the Xbox One and there's no wired mic cable option on the Warhead.

    Some headphones don’t work on XBOX you can check that by looking it up.
    this an official Microsoft stereo headset with adapter and teh mic isn't working cant register it as a device due to incompatible serial number and less than 60 days old was working now its faulty not getting anywhere on this

    Warheads will work as headphones, not as a headset. The wireless mic setup on the Warheads will not work with Xbox One.
