    Mic Monitoring Not Showing Up On Console


    So I recently got a new pair of Astro A10's with the MixAmp, but when I plugged them into my controller and went to change headset settings (where they usually were for me), no such options showed up. I was wondering if anybody has any solve to that, as
    mic monitoring is very important for me, and I have no mic monitoring as it stands right now.

    Chatpad Mic Monitoring?

    I'm looking into getting the Xb1 Chatpad. The only feature I am questioning is whether it has mic monitoring or not. I really don't want to give up mic monitoring on my controller.

    Can anyone help me?

    Mic Monitor for new XB1 Headsets

    Got my XO Sevens a few days ago, and i love it so much. But theres no mic monitoring and it's driving me crazy. it makes me yell in the mic all the time. I really need to have mic monitoring, and i'm pretty sure they can do it trough an update since the
    headset adapter is going into the controller. Please microsoft, get us this option. =(

    That all depends on what you have installed for capture software etc. The Xbox mic monitoring shows up in settings when you have a mic plugged in though.

    Turn off Mic monitoring

    Mic monitoring still shows up for me under the audio settings. I'm not sure if it is only because I am in the insider program. Do you have the insider program?

    A few hours ago I had just bought a new Wireless Headset and I can hear myself talk. This can be fixed with Mic monitoring turned off but Microsoft removed it. I search my enture settings category and nothing with "Mic Monitoring" or any sliders showed up.
    I would like an answer as soon as possible. Thank You!
    The audio settings under "Profile & System" probably aren't showing up because you don't have your headset connected to your controller which means you can't access mic monitoring. Do you have any software delivered with your headset? Depending on your headset
    you should be able to turn it off with given software.
