Mic just stopped working

I was talking in a party and then my mic just stopped working.I can still hear people talking and i can hear the beeping noise when you turn your volume up but i cant talk in it. What happened and is there any fix

My mic just recently stopped working. I have no idea why

 

XBOX one mic just stopped working

XBOX ONE...I have used every step in your troubleshooting guide and none of them have worked. My mic just stopped working. I can hear the game and others in chat but no one can hear me. They say it just sounds like buzzing. Again, I have tried every step
in your troubleshooting guide more than once. I have rebooted my Xbox system 3 times. I have tried 5 different controllers, 2 different adapters, iphone headphones, and 6 different mics. Nothing is muted, everything has been rebooted, all new batteries, adjusted
all mic controls, reconfigured all 5 controllers and matched them to my profile...mic feature has just stopped working completely on all of my accessories

 

I have been having this problem as well when my brother and I are playing Destiny. Everything will be fine for a few minutes, and then we can't hear each other. Party chat says I am talking, but there is no sound on his end and vice verse. This issue started
right after we both got the Stereo Headsets. I don't know if it is an issue with the stereo headset or a server problem on Destiny. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I got the stock mic and it just stopped working when i was talking to my friends and cant find any fix for it. I tried hard restarting my Xbox and still doesn't work.

 

I am having this issue as well and have bought a new headset and it's still not working. Was also playing destiny when this occured

 

I'm having the same problem. VERY frustrating for me and the party I'm playing with on Destiny. After searching for a while it seems like this is affecting a LOT of people. Many of which have posted on these forums, none that I've come across have gotten
a response from Microsoft. Seems like they would have given this some attention by now.... I guess they're having the same problem with their headsets.

Sorry to hear about the chat issues, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted:

Please give the following steps a try:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord and unplug your headset from your controller.
  
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console and headset.
• Make sure that your headset is not muted and try joining a party to see if the issue continues.
  
• If the issue continues, try using your headset with a different controller to see if the issue continues to occur.

Nothing work still have the problem!!!

 

Mine was doing the same, but people on the other end said that my mic was crackling, so I've sent mine back to xbox to get replaced, you should do the same as you'll be within warranty.

 

Tried all the steps there is and still nothing. I don't want to wait two weeks for a replacement mic or my mic to get fixed so just probably going to go buy a new one.

No Subtitles, Iv had the same problem myself with the past week or 2, and in my experience, i can say the few ways iv gotten it to start working again, is to

A.) Hard reset your system * Unplugging powercord from the supply box *

B.) Taking the back out of your controller via battery pack/plug and play.
