Mic issues

I'm going to start a new thread since my last one has been so egregiously ignored by the moderators on this site for more than a week now, and the twitter support is atrocious. My mic that is less than 4 months old stopped working. I can hear others with
it, but they can no longer hear me. I've hard reset the system, my NAT is open, controller up to date, in party chat so on and so forth, so please skip these steps, they do not work. My mic was very well kept, So no it should not have broken.

I am not thrilled with the prospect that i might have to already buy a new mic due to your faulty products. Is there a way for MS to send me a replacement? At this point, where i can get a legitimate answer to my issues, I am becoming seriously irritated.
I chose your system over the others because you seemed trustworthy. Make me believe i chose right, because as of right now, I feel ripped off and
disappointed in your product and subsequent customer service.

Weird issue with mic

Sounds like NAT or network issues. Sometimes when two people have a certain network config you can play and chat with other people just fine, but not someone else with your same issue.

My wife and I used to have a similar issue with chat in OG Destiny. Check your NAT and make sure it is open not moderate or strict.

 

Weird issue with mic

I have a weird issue going on for a while now. There is this certain person I play online with that can’t hear me when I’m talking, but he can hear everyone else he plays with. I know my mic works because it works if I play with anyone else. I was thinking maybe he has me muted or something and doesn’t know it, so I switched to a different account, but he still can’t hear me any ideas?

 

If your talking about the chat headset that came with the console, you can register your console at
http://myservice.xbox.com then after you have registered it you can then select replace an accessory, select your console, and there will be an option to replace a headset.

 

Its not your mic bro its a glitch on there part please adress this microsoft i cant stand this
