    Mic issue help!!!


    I am having a mic issue with my new Xbox one s. The one I purchased was the one on Black Friday. The issue I am having is that the chat headset mic isn’t working. The audio is working just fine along with it being recognized by the system. I was on the phone
    with support for a hour with the final resolution being exchange it. I have exchanged it now for a new system with the same issue arising. It seems like the mic needs to be turned on or recognized.

    Weird issue with mic

    Sounds like NAT or network issues. Sometimes when two people have a certain network config you can play and chat with other people just fine, but not someone else with your same issue.

    My wife and I used to have a similar issue with chat in OG Destiny. Check your NAT and make sure it is open not moderate or strict.

    Weird issue with mic

    I have a weird issue going on for a while now. There is this certain person I play online with that can’t hear me when I’m talking, but he can hear everyone else he plays with. I know my mic works because it works if I play with anyone else. I was thinking maybe he has me muted or something and doesn’t know it, so I switched to a different account, but he still can’t hear me any ideas?

    Mic issue help!!!

    I'm getting this same issue on my Astro A50 Gen 3 headset. I think an update Xbox pushed out broke something. I am able to party chat with anyone who joins my party. I am not able to chat in a game lobby or game.

    SERIES X MIC ISSUES

    if you are able to try testing out the mic on another game. i know warzone has been having alot of different issues including mic issues

    after testing your mic in another game and dont notice issues there than its most defiantly a game issue.

    xbox one microphone

    An issue of not liking to wear a headset can be helped using a kinect, although i dont suggest it due to price. Most mics are needed to be worn overhead, but some mics can be worn comfortably. Id suggest looking into wireless mics.

    Hey CheesyWigglez52,

    Check your party tab to be sure you have not muted yourself. Also, check to be sure your mic is on. If you can, try to connect your mic using another controller.
