Mic isn't working in a certain game

Hey!

There are functions for muting in party voice communications. Have you checked to see if you are muted? Are all of the functioning parts plugged in?

if you could let us know what sort of troubleshooting you have already done we may be able to narrow down the issue.

Yeah none of that works:/ wireless mic isn't connected to the controller...the cheap chat mic works fine so I'm not sure how the controller would effect the wireless headset...that's that only thing xbox ambassador said to do...I'm just curious if that cortana
voice commands through headsets that has messed with certain brands of headsets...cause even though it it's disabled it's still a ability that has been added to the mic function

i have the XO 4 headset from turtle beach and the mic doesn't work even the mic that game with my headset isn't working

My mic is not working, like my mute button isn't turning on and my volume beeping isn't working either. It's not the controller because i have 2 mics and only one of them work with my controller. Whenever I speak it works but when they are talking i can
only hear them like my mic is on 1% volume. PLEASE HELP!

If your friends can't hear you, first make sure that your mic isn't muted, then check in headset settings that Auto-mute is not set to High (try turning Auto-mute off). If that doesn't fix the problem, restart both devices. You should also check to see if a firmware update is available for your headset.
