    Mic is making a dog whistle type noise when i talk


    when ever i talk in a party chat with my turtle beach ear force 50x they say theres a dog whistle type noise that comes out when i talk and i have tried a differnt mic and controller and it still make the noise.

    Beeping noise

    my xbox keeps making this dog whistle noise for 10 seconds, then stops, then goes again. It does it while playing games, streaming video or while idle. Any ideas? Support already had me do a factory reset which did not help.

    when I join a party to talk and I’m using a microphone, they say it’s making a loud screeching noise. I have a controller where it has to be plugged into the xbox 1 console and the headphone that are plugged into the bottom of the remote. The mic is brand
    new but I don’t know how to stop the noise

    Mic is making a dog whistle type noise when i talk

    Some things to try:

    • Turn your headphone volume down. They could possibly be causing a feedback loop.
    • Clean the headphone jack port. I'd try a cotton swab dipped in a bit of rubbing alcohol.
    • If you have your controller powered by a USB cord, make sure that the headset cord isn't touching it.

    Xbox one controller not so solid!

    When mine rumbles it makes a faint hum/whistle type noise. I ordered a titanfall controller so hopefully it doesn't have the same issue. Other than that, I have no issues. I only own one.

    my xbox mic is broken too, 6 days ago my wired mic was acting weird, sometimes when i moved it, i could'nt hear people talking. 6 days later, I can't even talk into the mic. whenever I click the volume up button it doesnt make the noise when you turn up

    Headphones not letting me hear background audio

    Headphones that allowed me to hear background noises and talk on the mic only let me talk on the mic. They were compatiable.

    Can you clean the disc, it might have a smug on it that is causing a problem.

    Do you have it installed on your hard drive?
