    Yes yes, I know. There are way too many questions about mic echo, but listen up!! I Have never had mic echo issues on xbox. I still have the same controller and headset I have been using. The only difference is that I bought the new xbox series S. At first, everything seemed to work fine. But now eveyone in my party chat hears constant echo. No, my tv speakers aren't on. No, my headphone sound is not too loud. I have tried every variation of settings, restarts, wiggles, etc and my controller firmware says it is up to date. Are there issues between software of the first generation of elite controller and00 the series X and S? I even thought it was a controller issue with the jack and replaced it 3 times, and, every time it works perfectly and still has party chat echo. When it isn't an elite controller, there is no echo.

    I'm glad i'm not the only one with this opinion. I have a fairly expensive headset and use the Elite v2 controller. After numerous attempts of trying to fix my mic, i can't get a setting that works. Some people either echo from my mic, or my game sound
    echos so much and is picked up with my mic. I simply just mute myself between speaking now, which is inconvenient.
