    Mic doesn't work on xbox anymore


    i recently got a pair of Razer Kraken Pro V2s, the mic worked for a couple days but suddenly It won't work on the xbox, it works fine on my PC and if i turn mic monitoring up i can hear myself but it doesn't work in partys or game
    chat, I've checked to make sure it isn't muted, ive power cycled my xbox, and I checked every setting i can think of, updated the controller and the xbox. I'm not sure how to fix the problem or what the problem even is, but if someone knows how to fix it,
    it would be much appreciated.

    Game doesn't work anymore

    Dear Support,

    Today morning I started to play on my laptop computer with the brand new event. I successfully finished first 5 challenges. When I started the 6th challenge, cards did not appear, just the simple emty background appeared. Since this I'm not able to play
    with Microsoft Solitaire Collection at all. I completed some daily challenges earlier on my Laptop - not too often, but regularily.:

    I've already tried to:

    - Restart, update and reinstall application

    - Restart my computer

    - Update my Windows

    - Relog to my xBox account

    I'm using Win10 on my laptop. Nothing has changed between challenge 5 and 6 on my OS. Now I'm not able to start daily challenge, standard games or stars club at all.

    What else could I check?

    spotify doesn't work anymore

    Hi Bomfort, can you try power cycling your console? Press the power button for 10 seconds; unplug the power cable from the wall; wait 5-10 minutes; reconnect and power back on. Does the app behave better now?

    If not, can you try uninstalling the app (go to My Games & Apps > Apps, highlight Spotify, press the Menu button (three horizontal lines) and select Uninstall) and then reinstalling it?

    Sorry to hear about the mic issues.

    Do you run into the same issues with other mics on your console and with other controllers?

    Do you by chance use a Receiver with your TV and console?

    Are you on a wired or wireless network and is your NAT always open?

    To be sure, have you gone through ever step on the
    Chat Headset troubleshooter    ?

    Mic not working

    I tried it all. My mic doesn't work in Skype. I have two turtle beach headsets and they both don't work anymore. It's something to do xbox's end, not the headsets

    Their is no mute button, either the two headsets don't work or the port where the mic plugs into on the controller doesn't work anymore, you can either try the headsets with another controller or buy a new headset.

    Microphones on both of my headsets not working since this week's update

    I have a similar problem, except when I plug in my mic or anything that can go into the small port, it doesn't make any noise at ALL. It even says that I don't actually have a mic plugged in. And to make sure my mic worked fine, I plugged it into my computer
    and it worked perfectly fine. I have no idea what's causing the problem, but it seems that Microsoft doesn't know how to fix this since none's replied back to me. Oh and as an extra thing, I plugged in a different mic which worked for less than 2 minutes before
    even that just didn't make any noise anymore.

    It sounds like the headset is defective if you have to hold it in a funny way and stand on one foot. Are you sure that it is plugged in correctly into the controller? Also have you ensured that the controller is properly synced to your console? Where did
    you purchase the console from?



    Reach back and let us know your setup before having to reach out to phone support to request a repair/replacement.
