Mic doesn't work after plugging controller into Plug n play

    Mic doesn't work after plugging controller into Plug n play


    I was talking on my mic last night when I had to plug my controller in to charge. Since then I can not talk on my mic, but I can hear everyone else. I've tried everything under the sun. Please help

    Mic problems

    Hey guys, my mic doesn't want to seem to work. When I plug it in it registers that there's a mic but I can't hear anyone and nobody can hear me, it started happening after my controller died. When I plug the mic into s different controller it works. BTW
    I'm using controller with built in 3.5 mm Jack

    Controller mic problem

    So I just got a controller, when plugging in the headset mic it shows on the game that the mic is plugged in (playing b ops 2 and the speaker sign shows up when plugging in headset). When I talk however my voice doesn't go thru and my friends can't hear
    me. When I send a message to myself however my voice picks up in the message but its very quiet. I know it's not my headset because when I plug it into another controller it works fine.

    Can I ask if you have tried to reset your console while the mic/plug and play is still plugged in?

    Sometimes your controller has to be reset to make it re-sync it seems.

    Xbox One PDP Prismatic Afterglow USB controller has buzzing sound transmitting over mic

    to fix the problem with all wired controllers, simply unplug the mic and controller, then plug the MIC in first, then plug the controller back in. Worked for me. Hopefully it works for you.

    Well I plugged in my controller via usb cable and headset into the controller. The mic icon still doesn't light up in game when I speak and I must plug in the mic in game for the icon not to be crossed out, other than that the chat headset worked fine just

    Didn't Answer Question. First starts the controller doesn't plug in anywhere and if you meant the Mic being plugged into the controller that also wouldn't make a difference because I also tired the Kinect mic without any luck

    how can i charge xbox series x controller without XBOX

    use the plug n play charge kit, plug into any usb port for it to charge, done. i bought the series controller for pc, but couldnt get the usb c charging kit, so i got the original xbox one plug n play and use a spare usb c cable i have, works a charm.

    no xbox required.
