Mic cant seem to hear me on my xbox?

Discus and support Mic cant seem to hear me on my xbox? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; This just started happening to me today. I can hear everyone, no one can hear me.     This just started happening to me today. I can hear everyone, no one can hear me. Went through troubleshooting etc with MS. Still couldn't get it working. It was weird. I was in party talking as normal to everyone, then suddenly people were asking why I
    was so quiet.

    Did a test via skype on the XB1 and no voice heard. But could hear it's test alright.

    yeah well at least there are a group of people who have this problem, the only problem is there is no sound solution atm excuse the pun. its a shame but its really making me wish i chose a PS4.

    I've used cheap Samsung earphones, cheap Vodafone earphone and the default MS mic and they all work on Skype, this is really irritating.

    well now i know its not internet related guys, thanks for all the help so far, ill get a new controller tomorrow, i'm guessing maybe something just shorted out in it but if that doesn't fix it then it looks like my Xbox is going back to the factory :/

    Unfortunately that didn't work, and the sad thing is this seems to happen to a lot of people with the Xbox one.

    me and my friend are having same problem. My friends mic stopped working after he walked out of range and mine stops working if cable is plugged in/out. What fixes it for me and my friend is to go to the settings and set the controller for my profile (even
    if its already set) and then for luck i try to vibrate it. Usually the mic starts working after that.

    My friend had to turn the controller off before his started working though.

    Thanks SickLikeFlu i've already tried cheap earphones, they used to work. i'm hoping maybe it was just an xbox update that's effecting some people and they'll fix it soon. i just hope its fixed before the 8th
