    Mic appears to be stuck on mute.


    Everything works other then me being able to talk to people in party/game chat. I can still hear everyone just fine but it isn't picking up what I say. I noticed while playing a game that my Mic symbol is showing that I have my mic muted despite me not having
    the mute set on the plug in part. Any solutions?

    my xbox one adapter is stuck on mute I have tried updating turning off and on and updating old controllers please help I don't want to buy a new one

    My mic mute button was lit up and didnt work. So I updated it and now the mute button flashs and still doesnt work. What does that mean?

    Mic appears to be stuck on mute.

    Hi, in party there is a setting to mute your microphone, if that is pressed it mutes your microphone without turning the light on the headset on.

    Check in your party settings to see if your microphone is muted. If this works for you or if you need more help, post a reply! Mic appears to be stuck on mute. :)

    Hey just to add my input here, The above suggestion is spot on. I have had this happen to me in the past. In my case the setting within the party was not set to mute me. I plugged the play and charge wire into the controller and low and behold my voice was
    heard again. This may have been a fluke thing but certainly worth a shot. I was also able to unplug the wire afterwards and still be heard.

    Do you know how hard it is to mute my mic? X41's have the worst mute system ever. It's some tiny little switch which is like. 24/7 stuck.

    Thanks everyone for the responses. After contacting Microsoft is seems its a fault with the controllers. Have had these replaced and am back on track :)
