MGSV:GZ Cannot escape the title/main screen

Hi,

I just downloaded MGSV:GZ free with Gold

When I started it it asked me to download the game data, which I did. Asked me to create a save, I did, accept the contract...ect ect...

Then it shows "Connect to server" it finishes and I am stuck there.

I have no UI, I have snake sitting on the crates moving it's head and that's all.

If I press right trigger I zoom and can move around with LS - otherwise nothing...I press any other button and nothing happens...

I tried those steps: Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. but it didn't help.

What am I supposed to do?

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes

I'm still kind of confused but...when Kojima said that Ground Zeros was a prologue to MGSV, what he meant was that GZ was literally the prologue of MGSV and The Phantom Pain being the main part of the game. Sort of like MGS3 where
the Virtuous Mission was the the first small part and Operation Snake Eater was the main part? Tanker followed by the Big Shell in MGS2?

That's a tough one... and a very annoying one.

Obviously the game is downloaded fully, but maybe when you downloaded it the connection dropped out for a millisecond and this has caused the glitch.

My general response is to clear the system and start again. I have included the details below. Its not a 100% guarantee but it may assist.

1. Remove profile - SETTINGS page (far right from home page), select STORAGE, then find your profile and remove.

2. While in your hard drive under GAMES & APPS look for any red or yellow icons with incomplete or unknown. Delete them. (This may include the game you are trying to fix)

3. Clear System Cache - SETTINGS page, select STORAGE and highlight a drive but don't select it. Press Y and select Clear System Cache. Agree when asked.

4. Be Patient - turn your console off for a full minute. This assists in resetting the console.

5. Turn on the console and download your profile - it is the icon next to 'create a profile'.

Try again. If it is still an issue repeat the steps but at Step 2 delete the troublesome game and complete the steps with the following.

6. Go to SETTINGS page & select ACCOUNT

7. Got to DOWNLOAD HISTORY and find the game/DLC you wanted. The most recent are first.

8. Select the item and then select DOWNLOAD AGAIN. This should fix the issue.

I just performed your steps and it didn't help (and as I stated I had already performed them).

I think you didn't get my issue properly: I can start the game, I get to the title screen and snake is just sitting and I have no way to do anything.
