Mgs5 resolution /performance.

Will Mgs5 the phantom pain have better performance than ground zeros? There was an obvious performance gap running the game engine has there been any improvements for xbox one regarding resolution /performance?

PS3 owners got Condemned 2 and Mass Effect 2. I wouldn't count it out just because of MGS4's absence. MGS5 may not even be a sequel. I'd be very surprised if it was.

 

Does the game still support HDR in "performance mode" on XBOX ONE X ?

Hi

If a game has performance mode it will cut back the game resolution to maintain the game performance it will not remove HDR as this feature does not require much console power to achieve.

 

This question is the kind of question Konami or Kojima Productions will need to answer. Normally this information is made public shortly before the release of the game I suggest looking on the games website/forums.

Another good place to keep an eye out for this information would likely be Konamis or Kojima Productions twitter accounts as they will likely post any information there aswell.

Giving that Kojima Productions has had over a year since the release of Ground Zeros it is possible that they have made improvements to the game engine in this time.

 

Yea there was an obvious gap if you spent your time watching comparison vids on the web. If you just bought and played the game then it played brilliantly and looked great.

I'm on my third xbox one and I've had two ps4's. this is mainly

I like most people expected 1080p 60fps this gen but both companies have under delivered!

Anything point I've decided to stay with xbox one, I no longer own a ps4.

I want to enjoy my xbox one the same way I enjoyed my 360 but I still can't help

but feel Microsoft got cheap on us this time round.....

I was in the position that I got to compare Mgs5(amongst other games) on both ps4 and xbox one first hand

And the difference was large and yes I had at that point completed the game.

Is it wrong to expect a little more information did wait 8 years for a new xbox.

The mobile phone market moves onto new hardware every year some like sony even six months so right at the start of this gen both consoles seem underpowered and I've got to just accept it????

P.s don't want a pc been there done that too lazy now lol. Steam machine.......... Maybe.

Xbone versions will always be inferior, it doesnt have the power of the ps4
