Buying a PS4 seems to have a strange effect on people. Having gamed with you Primo I know your a decent bloke, but I fail to understand your new found obsession with attacking the One. Just move on mate.

 

While again Thief shows up the Xbox One, i have been reading Strider is a little, not a lot better on the Xbox One then PS4. Which i suppose is a start though I'm guessing that's more down to it being from Double Helix then anything else.

 

@ Gench - I have moved on, hence my purchase of the PS4. If people take my sharing of factual information as an attack against them, then they are mistaken. You also have no need to justify or defend your choice of console to me. I respect your choice and
opinions, so please do the same for others regardless of whether they agree with you or not.

If you have a problem with me visiting these forums, then please do let me know where else I can go to discuss games, deals and news for my 360 console

Anyway, back on topic - I will definitely be purchasing the new Metal Gear Solid as I've always been a fan (apart from Rising which was bobbins in my opinion), and I don't see any real substance in the rumours that it is only 2 hours long. Thief, I'm not
so sure about, as I will probably already have too many games to play.

 

Multiple outlets have confirmed its two hours long. There's other content in the game but it's collecting XOF tags, time trials, difficulty modes and 5 side missions. It's extremely short.

 

Going from Xbone to PS4 is very similar to the term PC users say, "upgrading". Titanfall is another game which will be much better elsewhere.

 

Primo of course I have no problem with you being here, I used to enjoy your posts, but since this gen the majority if your posts on here are negative posts about the One which I see as unnecessary, the PS 4 is not without it's issues but I don't feel the
need to pop on Sony forums and point them out to owners who are happy with their choice of console. This is an xbox forum so why not restrict your observations to an xbox topic you actually have first hand knowledge of, the 360 and it's games. It's not like
your posts about the One are actually intended to fuel debate, they are just deliberate snipes at anything you can find that you perceive as not up to scratch compared to your console of choice.

I think it's fair enough having threads that question why these big performance gaps are happening so early in the gen, but not if it's just to get a reaction.

 

I'm sorry you think that is the case, but it is far from it. It seems some of you have taken personal offence at my observation of the performance issues on the Xbox One, which is obviously an example of brand loyalty at it's best. Being mentally unable
to distinguish between a critical post about a consumer product and a personal attack towards yourselves is unfortunate.

It seems that you are no longer able to have a reasonable intelligent discussion about console gaming here any more, because the slightest negative thing about the 360 or the Xbone is taken as a personal attack and defended by the current regulars. Most
of the level headed forumites have probably either decided to seek discussion elsewhere or no longer choose to post.

Obviously no one here can handle any constructive criticism about the One, so that takes any further stimulating discussion out of the equation

Kind of ironic that you have that in your sig Primo - seeing as you are always complaining about XB1 shortfalls... lol

The thing is though, all the PS4 owners seem to be the ones highlighting these performance issues. The people who are gaming on their XB1 on a daily basis don't seem to be noticing any such issues. Why is that do you think?

Don't get me wrong - there are certainly issues with the XB1, although I fully expect these to be patched and ironed out over the course of time. Yes it is annoying that the new console was released with these issues and/or features seemingly missing but
that's life, early adopter's are kind of used to that.

Apparently the PS4 also has it's fair share of issues and missing features, although I don't confess to being an expert on what they are simply because I have no intention of buying one in the next few months. When I do though I will research it thoroughly,
and who knows, maybe I'll rejoice in the knowledge that the resolutions is so spectacular.

I doubt it though, all I care about is having fun.

 

I have never bought or not bought a game due to it's graphics or how many lines it can or cant display, when you are immersed in the game you shouldn't be worrying about it anyway.

 

No one is accusing you of launching a personal attack at themselves Primo, your just consistently being a snarky little bleeder whenever a discussion comes that gives you an opportunity to have a little dig at the xbox and trump the PS4 - you keep trying
to defend what your blatantly doing with a carefully worded response, although even then you can't help having yet another snarky little jab "mentally unable" , just give it a rest..

 

Personally, i'm just glad theres some more games on the horizon!
