MGS Ground Zeroes 720p on Xbone confirmed

I saw the comparison vid, there is literally no difference between the ps4, x1, ps3 or 360. They all look the same. Is the game running at 720 on the 360? if it is then i would be worrried that they couldnt get it to 1080 for the x1. It may not make much
of a difference now but going forward could be huge (or devs could sort it out and everything be rosey)

Lock output resolution to 1080p30 or 1080i60

Genchy, there are a few other 720p games on Xbox One:

-COD Ghosts

-Battlefield 4

-Battlefield Hardline

-MGS Ground Zeroes

-Dead Rising 3

Lei Fang, ESRAM is the reason why Xbox One is harder to hit 1080p than the PS4.

 

There's definitely a difference, it just isn't a very big difference. You can't really appreciate all the differences in a low bitrate youtube clip, you're better off looking at HD screengrabs.

 

I'll be getting this, those saying that it is 2 hours long sound like the sort of people who don't play games for enjoyment purposes.

 

£30 for 2 hours of story (the only bit of these games i play) is too much imo. Il wait until it inevitably hits the bargain bin before picking it up.

 

The Xbox One version is a complete joke, it does not look any better than the Xbox 360 version. Another example of how bad the Xbox One is.

I used to be a fairly frequent commenter here, in another life. I jumped ship for a year or so and caught up on the PS3 exclusives that I'd missed out on. When this generation came around I opted for Xbone and I've been hovering around the forums ever since,
but it seems something got broken whilst I was away. I can only hope that things get better as this generation progresses and these forums become the hub of the Xbox community that they once were.

We should be here talking about games and not constantly having to defend our choice of console.

It would be refreshing not to see this 'sniping'. It's unnecessary and extremely childish. I probably sound like an old hippy preaching peace and love to all, but really I just want to play good games.

Actually NO, I think I do but I wont say it!

 

I must admit, the differences between the X1 and PS4 versions in that vid are shocking.

I never realised Snake was made out of Plasticine in xboxland.

I get the impression they just upped the resolution of the 360 version for X1 and didn't even try to enhance it any further.

 

The resolution's the same but the framerate is better. Not that you'd see it on youtube which is capped at 30fps

 

I mean what were microsoft thinking, Xbone has to be the worst console they have ever made and probably the last.

 

Actually in that clip the Xbox one version seems to perform the best, but the it's visually not much better than the last gen games and at 720p.

 

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the resolutions for Thief yet, Xbone has slipped up again with that game...
