Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with your console not displaying resolutions correctly.

In regards to this, I would have you verify that you have your TV connection is configured to
HDMI in your
display settings.

This can be done by following these steps:

1. Go to Settings on your Xbox console.
2. Under General, select TV & display options.
3. Select Video fidelity & overscan.
4. Under Overrides, make sure you are set to HDMI.

Once this is done, try to adjust your Resolution once more and let us know if this works for you!

Try performing a hard reset by pressing the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts off completely. Then unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.

Olá, meu xbox é o one S, sempre deixei na horizontal, mas em um lugar não abafado, já deixei na vertical, porém achei que os barulhos que estava fazendo não era normal, então prefiro deixar na horizontal mesmo.
