Metro Redux Disk getting stuck on Chapter 1 loading screen

So just got the Metro Redux game from Gamestop today and installed fine. But after playing for 15 minutes when I start Chapter 1 the loading screen takes 10 minutes then get's to 99% and jut sits there??? Anyone else having this issue with actual disk? My
friend has downloaded copies and it loads fine? Trying to decide if I should take back or just delete and re-install?

Metro Exodus

You would get Metro Exodus and Metro Redux 2033. The DLC for Metro 2033 is included in the Redux version on the Xbox One.

 

Metro redux downloading content not working

hey so I fully installed metro redux and finished chapter 5 but now it's just been on installing content for ( pretty much 5hours cause I fell asleep waiting lol)

is this a is known bug?

 

Delete and re-install it first. Somewhere along the line it may have gotten corrupted? It's worth a shot.

Same thing for me. Stuck on chapter one and at 99%. I've deleted install and reinstalling now. Hope it clears up the issue.

 

Tried deleting and re-installing still does it, also started New Game and still doing it at the moment. might go and return for Microsoft Credit so I can get download version.

 

Same here... I just reinstal 3 times and its the same... Can' t play it... Jesus Cmon...

 

So Just try my External HDD 7.500 Rpm and it's the same... I Like to Collect fisical games do if this game Don't work on Xbox One ill buy it for PS 4.... ill wayt until lunch day for an update! Sorry for my inglish

 

I'm trying to reach out to them through Twitter for a solution. I'll just try the other game on disk and see if similar results. If not I'll return to Amazon. Might be fixable with a patch. Still blows.

 

Just returned to Gamestop for digital copy of Metro 2033/LastLight Redux. Seems it's happening on PS4 as well.

 

I new I should have grabbed the ps4 version I even had it in my hand but I thought my x1 has not been played in a long while so I will buy my next few multy platform games on it lol , guess it was a wrong move any way I think I am going to return it and
get the other copy because I have tried everything and I am at a stand still . this is bs

yes but out of 9 friends on ps4 not 1 has that issue and are playing fine and actually I have not seen one post about the ps4 having this issue as I checked gamefaq , reddit and other sites . so who knows were he heard that from , I know from no post and
friends that are playing it but on the x1 not one person on my friends list
