Metro Exodus: The Two Colonels will not launch

I purchased the PC version of Metro Exodus DLC: The Two Colonels and the game crashes to the desktop when I try to launch it. It shows up correctly in the "Chapters" menu and allows me to select it, but then crashes immediately.

Anyone else have this problem and know of a solution?

The main game works perfectly (I'm playing the Xbox Game Pass version and finished the entire campaign with no issues)

- Please launch Metro Exodus and from the game's menu choose "Chapters".

- You should see a menu with 4 options, "The Two Colonels", "Sam's Story", "Introduction" and "Moscow".

- Try launching "The Two Colonels" or "Sam's story", as those are the DLC included in the expansion pass you purchased.

I still cannot get the Metro Exodus base game to launch.. You can see it in the Task manager processes when you launch it, but the game hasn't actually launched in since during the summer sometime. I would have hoped MS would have this fixed by now.

They have lost another subscriber to the Xbox Game Pass (PC) due to this.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issues with DLC for the game. We recommend first try and uninstall the DLC part of it and reinstall it. If continue to have issues, you can try the

troubleshoot game installation on Windows 10.
