Metro Exodus Intro crash

Hey,

I recently got myself Gamepass for PC and tried to play Metro Exodus. But after I launched the game, halfway through the Intro sequence, the game froze and crashed to the Desktop, without any details on why this happened. This doesn´t happen with other games
(SUPERHOT, Rise of the Tomb Raider etc.). Has anyone got an idea on why this happens and/or how to fix it?

Heya BEJS,

It's really unfortniate that you can't play Metro Exodus (Windows Edition). I also, play it on my PC and just started the game and it worked. Maybe you need to update the game or the Xbox PC application. Have you changed any game files, because that could
temper the game.

I followed the guide and reinstalled the game. Sadly, nothing seems to work. Any more suggestions?

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue with game crashing. We recommend to try out the

troubleshooting guide for game slow or crashing. The most common cause of this happening is a bad install of the game. If the troubleshooting doesn't work you can try and uninstall and reinstall the game, which is in the guide.

If you are running afterburner with riva tuner this is the problem.

On the desktop goto your hidden icons tab in the bottom left right click on riva and close it.

Launch metro exodus and play.

I had this same issue where metro would launch play the title intro then crash, launching in safe mode would not work as it would not sign me in.
