Metro Exodus crashing after intro

I’m trying to play Metro Exodus on my XBox Series X and it crashes immediately after the intro scene prior to going to the main menu. After the intro, or if I press X to skip it, it briefly makes a noise, the screen turns black, and it returns to the XBox Home Screen. I played it previously on my One X prior to upgrading and had no issues.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game four times. I’ve tried lowering my resolution settings. I’ve tried a power cycle on the Xbox, and I’ve also reset all Xbox settings. I've also tried clearing the alt mac address. None of that worked.

Has anyone got a fix?
