Metro Exodus changing resolution doesn't work, Games Pass on PC

Fired up Metro Exodus and there are several problems. The big one is when I change the resolution to my monitors is doesn't actually do anything. In fact, no mater what I change it to, it doesn't seem to change the image at all. My GPU usage goes up, but
the image is definitely not native and does not change. It did actually change once, and it looked crisp and amazing, but when I relaunched the game it reverted back.

Also, I can't switch it to DX11, which runs better for Nvidia GPU's.

Follow the instructions in this link, use the manual instructions as I am not sure about the tool they suggest

since Game pass on PC is still in beta it's best to provide feedback via the Feedback option within the app, you can find it by clicking your profile icon and then select Feedback, this will select the Feedback app.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately it didn't work, for some reason. I gained permission to the folder and all the files, but the game still reverts everything when I close it. Switching to DX11 is the thing I really want because I can't use SLI with
DX12.

I had the same thing until I took control of the Windows Apps folder. By default, this folder is set to the TrustedInstaller. After I took control of the folder any changes I made to the seemed to stay. This sounds like the game can't save the config unless
the folder is under your control

If you don't mind, how do I go about doing that? I googled how to take control and found a few things, but none of them worked.
