    i bought the metal gear collection a few days ago, and i couldn't play it on Xbox one. i dont understand why all games arent back compatible, but i really wanted to play some older games. i dont have an xbox 360, ps3, or 3ds to play mgs: 3, Snake eater,
    and i really wanted to play it

    Metal Gear HD Collection

    It's usually up to the developers. They have to basically go back and recode the games to work with backwards compatibility which takes a lot of work. Which is why games are being added to the list all the time. But there are still games that will probably
    never become compatible if the developers don't want to take the time, don't have or want to use their resources to do it, or even can't because of licensing issues.

    "Metal Gear Solid HD Collection innehåller de tre mest omtyckta Metal Gear Solid-spelen som har ommastrats i fantastisk HD" Whitch roughly translates in to:

    "Metal Gear Solid HD Collection contains the three most popular Metal Gear Solid games have remastered in stunning HD."

    So I was a bit confused but thanks for the answer.
