According to some users you need to install SteamVR

After that open SteamVR, minimize it and run No Man's Sky desktop shortcut, you should be able to see a new window asking you if you want to use VR or play it normally

I've played No Man Sky, Tetris Effect, and Star Wars Squadrons via Game Pass in VR using my original Quest and they work great. Squadrons does not use the touch controls. When you launch the games they should recognize your headset is attached and offer to launch the VR mode. For Squadrons I think you need to allow VR in the settings.

Have you even tried VR? No Man's Sky is amazing in VR. You really don't know what you are missing!

I love no mans sky. If I had a vr to play it I'd probably get fired from work hahaha

I'm actually currently looking at getting no man's sky. The VR doesn't really get my attention right now though.
