    HI I am trying to use the xbox app on my pc and I have checked the requirements for this feature and my pc exceeds them but the xbox app says that my PC does not meet the requirements.

    Is anyone else having the same problems ?

    For info my graphics card is an amd r7 200 series

    Sorry, should have said. In the settings under Game DVR it says "This PC is unable to record clips" and when I open the game bar, the record button is grey and when I click it, it says "Sorry, this PC does not meet the hardware requirements for recording
    clips." I doubt it's my laptop seeing as I have an i7 3630QM, 6GB RAM and the graphic card in my OP.

    I have this issue as well now. I was able to use dvr recording about 3 months ago, but after one of the driver updates it has stopped working. I have an AMD 7950, so I am in spec. Software version 15.30.1025-151117a-296567C

    I have this issue as well now. I was able to use dvr recording about 3 months ago, but after one of the driver updates it has stopped working. I have an AMD 7950, so I am in spec. Software version 15.30.1025-151117a-296567C

    Hardware requirements for Game DVR on Windows 10

    To use Game DVR on Windows 10, you'll need the following hardware:

    The Game bar is available on all Windows 10 PCs. However, to record game clips, you need one of these video cards:

    •AMD: AMD Radeon™ HD 7000 series, HD 7000M series, HD 8000 series, HD 8000M series, R9 series, and R7 series.

    •NVIDIA: GeForce 600 series or later, GeForce 800M series or later, Quadro Kxxx series or later.

    •Intel: Intel HD graphics 4000 or later, Intel Iris Graphics 5100 or later.

    To check the video card on your PC, go to the search box on the taskbar and search for “Device Manager.” In Device Manager, expand Display adapters.

    If your PC can’t record game clips, you’ll see one of the following messages to let you know it won’t work:

    Sorry, this PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements for recording clips. For more info, go to Game bar settings.

    If you see one of these error messages, it means you'll need to upgrade your video card.

    Xbox screen record

    Game clips are recorded at the video resolution specified in the game, up to 1080p. For games played at a higher resolution, game clips will be scaled down to the selected level. Higher quality and resolution generally requires the PC to work harder, which may decrease performance. Try them out to determine the best settings for your system.

    your current graphic card could be having issues with your current clips setting
