Met requirements for "Full Garage" achievement on Joy Ride Turbo, but didn't ...

Hi All,

One of the achievements in Joy Ride Turbo for Xbox 360 is to purchase 42 cars (all of them). I recently purchased all of the cars, but for some reason the achievement is not unlocking. Help? Thanks.

Joy Ride Turbo Full Garage Achievement Glitch

Edit: Recovering my gamertag has no effect.

 

This is a known bugged achievement.

I did find one solution that may unlock it though:

What didn't seem to work, but I still did so may have had an effect:

- Cleared cache

- Recovered gamertag

- Scrolled through all of the cars using LT/RT on every vehicle select screen (online, stunt park, championship, quick race)

What did work for me though was to change the storage device:

- Go to "Help and Options" from the main menu

- Select "Change Storage Device" and select a different storage device (I chose hard drive as my save was on the memory unit)

- Select Stunt Park and go to vehicle selection

- Scroll through every single car using LT/RT

It unlocked for me when the last car got scrolled through. Didn't need to select a car, just as I pressed RT onto it.

 

Daft Badger's method did not seem to work on my console, does anyone else have a method to try?
