Hey i hope i can be helpful because i was having the same issue. Log in at login.live.com. Than click on the messenger tab. And go through the whole process it will ask u to accept there terms, put in your name, etc.... than u should be abe to fix it.

So we can best help out, can you clarify what happens when you try to send a message? Is there a particular error message? If so, pleae share the error.

i would first try to clear system cache here is link

then I would redownload your profile on xbox as well as update messenger on computer as well.

Sorry to hear you're having troubles. If you cannot even see the log in screen maybe you should clear your XBOX cache and see if that helps.

The same thing is happing to me. I click on the link logicslayer has posted it just says error not found can anyone help me. Also when I play games like cod black ops 2 , halo3 , and alien vs predetor it wount let me play online. But games that I have bought
off the xbox I can play live on.
