Sure. Are there other people with this problem? Is this only happening to my account?

It has been a week since the last post, and I still have the same problem. I tried talking to technicians through chats and I have tried going here to see if I can get the problem resolved. Still no luck though. It would be nice to be able to use a computer
to send messages because with a computer I can use a keyboard much more quickly than I can use a d-pad or a touch screen.

    Hey there again Lightblade47.

Unfortunately we don't have any further information to provide as an update, but this issue is still being looked into. Thanks a ton for your patience with this Messaging System :)

I just checked the messaging system and it works now. I don't think I did anything to fix it. Hopefully it doesn't break down again anytime soon.

    Thanks for clarifying!

Do you happen to have 2-step verification enabled on your Xbox One account? If not, let's try enabling that over on
account.microsoft.com and updating your contact number. Then try sending a message again.

Two-step verification has been enabled, though I'm not entirely sure how this will help.
I am still unable to send a message.
