Messaging problem

Ok so for almost the past year and a half I haven't been able to send messages from my Xbox one but I can send them from the 360 I've looked I'm not banned or anything cause I checked literally everything that Xbox support told me to check. Anyone that could
would be greatly appreciate it

That seems quite odd, let's see if we can figure out the root cause of the issue.

If you check your
privacy settings on the account is everything set to all and allow?

Let's have you
remove your profile,
power cycle the console, and then sign back in and test messages once more.

Do you see the same issue in all browsers and on or off your network?
