Messaging issue

    Messaging issue


    When I go into messaging, I can see all of my messages but it won't let me scroll down to 'enter' the message, reply, view profiles ect....it just. Lists the messages and won't let me move the focus onto any of them. I have had no issues with this until
    it started 2 days ago.

    Try clearing your Xbox ONE's cached files. Something could have gotten corrupted and just needs to be repopulated again.

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will power down.

    2. Once powered down, unplug the power cable from the back of the console and wait approximately 10-15 seconds to ensure any left over power has subsided.

    3. Plug in your console again and power the console on.

    Let me know if you're still experiencing issues. If so, what had you done recently before the issue occurred? Installed any games? Deleted any content? Did it start after an update of a game or the system?

    Thank you for responding. That seems to have fixed the issue. I appreciate your time!

    I hadn't downloaded anything new (games/apps/updates), but i do use my glass app on my phone quite a bit. I wonder if something happened between the two while I was using my glass app.

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This is something we have a team working on currently, are you able to send and receive messages through xbox.com or on the Xbox console without any issues presently?

    Finally a response, but with only questions and not answers. Mine has been broken since the last update. Everything else works perfectly.
    So to clarify BlueTiger54, the issue is only happening with you on iOS devices correct? Which version iOS are you running (are you running a technical BETA as well?) and please try the steps on this guide

    HERE     to see if it helps out with the issue.

    Go to
    https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage
    look under "Security info helps keep your account secure" and make sure they have a phone and email listed.

    If any are missing please add them. If Any ARE listed delete and re-add them. And Save Changes.

    Then Restart Console Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide. Select Settings. > Select Restart console. > Select
    Yes to confirm.

    Once the Console Has restarted you should be able to send messages.

    I can receive messages, but cannot send them. I have tried to enter my phone number, but I don't get any code. The email I used is from my iPad, does that have something to do with it? I beg for help !! \•-•/

    I have the same problem. Messaging seems to work fine, except for saving of the conversation.
