    Messaging isn't working for your account.


    I can't send messages for some reason. I went to
    http://support.xbox.com/fix-messaging     and followed everything on there to try to get it to work but nothing worked. I've searched the forums for "messaging" and "can't send messages" and nothing popped up so I'm hoping someone can help me out.

    HI Folks, I am experiencing major defalcates with messaging my friend via Battlefield 4 threw my Xbox One system, I keep getting this error message that says " Check your account - Messaging Is;t working for your account. Go to
    Why Can’t I Send Messages from Xbox One or Xbox App? to get more information and see how you can fix it. I've tried every thing ofcourse including what I was told to me to do....Please help

    To check, were you able to receive a text on your phone to confirm it as stated in that troubleshooter?

    Also, do you have any trouble messaging via Xbox.com instead of through your console?

    I would try to use the phone app and see if that works to isolate the issue. How you tried power cycle?

    https://www.xbox.com    ?
    There seems to be an issue (at least for me) where messaging doesn't work in the Xbox App, and on every browser except Google Chrome.
