Messaging has been very buggy for me lately. I'm not sure what to do.

Unfortunately it happens ever once and awhile, but it always seems to get corrected. I get a message, open and read it, but it still shows that I have new messages to read even though there is nothing new to retrieve. I have even had an extreme delay
in receiving messages. Sometimes it takes over a half hour to show up. My friends just have to be patient for a response.

On the date you created this post, on the Xbox Live Server Status page, messaging was one of the subsystems that was down or under maintenance.

The system was down multiple days and is currently not listed as affected with any issues. The only issues are with the game Need For Speed Heat, and those have been going on for the past few days also.

Hopefully this means all your message issues have been resolved, but if not, update is here and we can try to help and see if there is another problem.

When I go to delete messages it goes back but then it's still there. It's been pretty glitchy for me too.

There has been a lot going on with messaging on my Xbox One. First off, my messages sometimes won't delete after pressing X to delete them. I would select to delete a conversation, which would disappear, but it would suddenly reappear upon going back to
my list of messages. It's like this for every person I message. Other times, though, they would delete without any problems.

Second thing, my messages would be stuck on "sending" when trying to send a message. Sometimes, they go through and other times, they don't.

Third issue, my notifications for any messages I get don't pop up on my screen. I checked my settings, and I do not have any settings on that would prevent me from receiving notifications. They were fine beforehand, but I have been unable to see when I get
a message lately this past week. I also do not use "Do Not Disturb" mode, as I know that would keep notifications from popping up. The only time I see notifications is from my phone on the Xbox app.

Anyone know what could be the issue? I have tried restarting my console, signing in and out, just about anything, and nothing has changed. I don't know what else to do.
