Messaging for my account does not work

I encountered this problem a few months ago and thought nothing of it,it was until now where it has really affected me. i cant send a message to anyone and i just get a message asking me to check my account,ive done that and everything is okay as my reputation
is fine and my privacy settings are set to adult. i know its not a communication ban as i frequently join parties with others and communicate. help please

How to fix messaging

Help me fix messaging on xbox live. On my main account messaging doesn’t work but on my other it does. Help me see why it won’t work on my main.

I have the same problem too and it's driving me nuts. I can't find new friends unless I invite them to a party. Microsoft we need answers!

The simple solution is to block messages from anyone other than friends. There has been an increase in spam accounts lately it seems.

Just to calm you dear sir. It is a widespread issue. Many people have same problem. Just to add my comment.

3 days later and I still can't message anyone on Xbox. I wonder if it will ever get fixed. Maybe I will have better luck with Playstation.
