    Messaging Down


    Xbox app messaging has been down for several days. When click on messages, I get: "Try again - we had trouble getting your conversations". Many of us players are having this problem. Also, within the game's chat area it too is having problems. It repeats
    all the previous chats each time you log on in the Italy room. Other rooms seem to be having other issues. Please help.

    As of right now, there isn't any core services down. I would recommend force restarting your xbox by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds and turning it back on again

    There was an issue with people not being able to send or receive messages a week or two ago so maybe the problem wasn't fixed for all users. I haven't experienced that but the past two days at about 8 p.m. I couldn't access my feed or groups but everything
    else worked.

    Hi Sgt Bear Scat,

    I know you said it's well ventilated but go ahead have a look at the link below. Is the Xbox sitting on top of something else, or is something sitting on the Xbox? Also move the power supply to a well ventilated place if it is not already. It does have built
    in fans, but it can overheat as well.

    If your console consistently shuts down automatically due to ventilation problems, even after the console is free from clutter and no vents are obstructed, your console will need service.

    You can request a repair
    from the Xbox Online Service Center. Console registration is required to service your console.
